Stephen and Ella are striving to make Willowfield Lake Cottages an ideal holiday destination for all , and are focusing on making the site and cottages as Child friendly as possible. To this end as well as the facilities and grounds themselves, which offer a heated indoor pool with baby changing facilities a games room with pool table, table tennis table, table football and large "connect four" for the older children and a small enclosed play area with toys for toddlers, we also provide a supply of books, crayons , a dolls pram with dolls and ride on toys and trikes as well as a "playpen" filled with ELC balls for the babies. Externally as well as the spacious grounds offering a safe haven for play and exploring , we have an exciting Adventure fort for the larger children and a smaller play area with swings and plastic slides climbing areas etc for the toddlers ( both with seating for tired mums and dads ! ) as well as a Giant Chess set and balls and frisbees.
To make the journey and the whole holiday more enjoyable we also endeavour to supply as much as possible for babies and toddlers to save the parents transporting them, the list is as follows:-

All cottages have as standard a full size Bath with non slip bath mats ( for babies and toddlers ) as well as a Shower, a Washer/Dryer and an outside drying line with pegs for hand washed items ( or indoor folding drier for those less sunny days ! ) and an Iron and Ironing Board.
Fridge with freezer compartment and a Dishwasher c/w dishwasher tablets.
For the evenings in we have comfortable lounges with Digital Colour T.V, with freeview , DVD players and even a compendium of games
All the above are provided within the holiday price and there are no " hidden" extras for rental etc.
We have through constant dialogue with our guests developed the range of items provided and are always open to new ideas and suggestions that we can incorporate to make the holiday more enjoyable for parents as well as for their chidren whatever their age. |
