Our local beaches
- Arrival and departure.
Arrival and departure day is usually a Saturday or a Friday. Short break holidays can start on any day of the week to suit you. Your cottage will be ready for you to take over anytime after 3pm at the start of your holiday. You will receive full travelling instructions with your booking confirmation. Please do not arrive early, as time is needed to thoroughly clean the cottage between lets. For the same reason, please note that you should leave your cottage by 10am on the day of departure. - Electricity.
Electricity is by coin meter, which takes £1 coins. - Pets.
We regret that pets are not permitted. - Linen.
Bed linen is provided for all beds, which will be made up before you arrive. Please note that you should bring linen for cots (including pillows and blankets or duvets) Tea towels are provided, but personal towels are not provided and you should bring an adequate supply with you. - Visitors with mobility difficulties.
“Easy walking access”- A visitor using a walking aid should have no difficulty in gaining access to the living room, kitchen, one of the bedrooms and the bathroom, together with the garden area of any cottage described in this way. Please note that there are steps up to the entrance door to Mallard cottage. We would also point out that there are three steps up to the swimming pool entrance, and two steps down to the games room entrance. - Cleaning.
All cottages are thoroughly cleaned between holidays. However, because only a limited period is available in which to clean cottages we ask that you leave the property and its contents clean and tidy on departure. - Extra persons.
Under no circumstances may more than the number of persons stated on the booking form occupy a cottage. - Prices.
These are shown in the price group schedule and are fully inclusive charges for the cottage rental. Friday start cottages are charged at the weekly rate applicable from the Saturday following the start date. Prices include VAT at the current rate of 17.5%. Prices will be subject to change if the current rate of VAT is altered by government legislation. - Short Breaks.
These are holidays of a minimum of 3 night’s duration, and the rates for 3 nights and any additional nights are shown on the price group schedule. - Winter Short Breaks.
The cottages are available for Winter Holidays and they are also available for Winter Short Breaks during the off – season periods, and are marked with a *w in the price group schedule. Winter short breaks can be booked as far in advance as you wish. - Off-Season Short Breaks.
These are short breaks in the Spring and Autumn parts of the season, and are marked with an *o in the price group schedule. Off-Season Short Breaks can be booked anytime within 4 weeks of the holiday start date. - Last Minute Short Breaks.
Last Minute Short Breaks are available all year round, but can only be booked within one week of the start date.
